Now as I’m back after a long break, I decided to come back with one of my favorite topic: Cooking!!!

Today’s recipe is : Quick & Easy Chocolate Cake. In these tough times, its better to use minimum things, but who said it needs to be boring. This recipe asks for only 5 ingredients which are easily available.

No Egg! No Sugar! No Oil/Butter! No Flour!

Enough for : 5 people

Ingredients:

  1. Milk    : 1/2 Cup
  2. Dark Chocolate : 1
  3. Some Dry Fruits : Cashew, Almonds, Raisins
  4. Baking Powder : A pinch
  5. Star Ingredient : Whole Wheat Marie Biscuits : 10/12pieces

Method :

  1. Roughly crush some 10-12 cookies by hand. Now grind them to a fine powder using a mixer grinder.
  2. Take this powder in a bowl and add 4-5tbsp of milk.
  3. You can add more milk as per the consistency. It should neither be runny, nor thick.
  4. In a separate bowl, melt the dark chocolate. Whisk it once.
  5. Mix this chocolate into the batter.
  6. Add a pinch of baking powder and mix it lightly.
  7. Add the chopped dry fruits and give it a quick mix.

Now I will also be sharing a method to bake this cake on gas.

How to bake on gas?

  • Take an open kadhai and keep it on high flame.
  • Add a cup  full of salt.
  • Cover it with a lid/plate for about 5minutes.
  • Now remove the lid. Place a katori/bowl/stand inside the kadhai.
  • Place the baking tin on that stand & cover the lid again.
  • Keep the flame on medium & cook it for 30-35minutes.
  • Check once after 30 minutes by inserting a knife/toothpick inside the cake. If it comes clean, the cake is ready.

Do let me know how was it!! Until next time, keep rocking !!!!!
